In the past, a partial solution may have been to fit semi-rigid certified traceheating cable around the items, adding separate insulation blankets.\u00a0However, the cable could not be applied across the lcd\u2019s, and a specialist\u00a0installation engineer was essential to ensure correct configuration. Should\u00a0any subsequent maintenance be required on the item, the heating cable\u00a0would need to be removed and replaced, adding greatly to the expense of\u00a0any service work undertaken.<\/p>\n

Inteliheat offer de-mountable heating jackets made to measure, combining\u00a0effective insulation and heating to C1D2, C1Z1 and other hazardous area\u00a0standards. Removable flaps for local inspection of information displays,\u00a0waterproof covers, adjustable pull-cords, Velcro & D-Ring style fixings can all\u00a0be accommodated. A Universal Instrument Heating Jacket System is\u00a0available for standard sizes of equipment to speed up the design &\u00a0procurement cycle and reduce capital costs.<\/p>\n

\"\"Systems have been supplied for several Gas Analyzer systems with\u00a0HMI displays at the Shell Scotford site in Ft. Saskatchewan, operating\u00a0over winter to maintain 20\u00b0C \u00b12\u00b0C with -40\u00b0C ambient and 40mph\u00a0wind speeds. Shell\u2019s Project Manager stated \u201cThe Inteliheat product\u00a0performed so well that I had no hesitation in purchasing additional\u00a0units for upcoming winter programs\u201d. Larger custom solutions have\u00a0been provided to other petrochemical plants in Canada for\u00a0protection of pipeline pumps and motors.<\/p>\n
